Roots in Venice

Italian stucco already existed as architectural decoration in the ancient Roman era.
That Italian stucco was called MARMORINO and was very popular in the 15th to 16th centuries when Venice prospered.
It was called so because marble (marmo in Italian) was made into fine powder and mixed for use.

Product Features

To stabilize quality, it uses natural materials as raw materials such as lime paste aged for a long time, powdered marble, and water as in the past. Its finish gives a profound feeling reminiscent of stone walls and a cool touch. While smooth, subtle trowel unevenness reflects light shadows, creating an elegant expression together with fine sand grains.
MARMORINO is a plastering material nurtured in Italian history.
In Italy, it is also used for exteriors, but in Japan, we recommend it only for interiors to be cautious.
Lime is usually powder, but the raw material of this MARMORINO is paste.
Paste lime is completed by burning limestone, soaking it in water, and aging it for about 2 years.
Such a method of making lime is a traditional method practiced in Italy for hundreds of years, and quality is more stable than powder.
Also, the price of lime produced in this way is 10 times that of powder.
It is also used for the restoration of Italy's historical heritage as a material suitable for environmental conservation.

Maintenance of Marmorino

Normally you don't have to do anything. If it gets dirty, please erase it with a clean eraser or tap it with a tightly wrung towel.
However, soaked dirt cannot be removed, so please be careful not to let it soak inside.
We recommend applying wax in advance to places where dirt is likely to adhere.

Special Construction

By using "Patina" with metallic transparency on MARMORINO, it is possible to create a different texture.
Bronze, Gold, and Silver each have individuality, and they highlight their presence without destroying the chic and calm impression.
This time, we shot a video using Gold in the construction of a cylinder, so we will introduce it.
You can see the freshly applied state of MARMORINO and the completely dry state in the progress.
When completely dry, the brightness becomes much higher than when freshly applied, producing a stone-like texture.
This alone has enough luxury and fits into any space with a natural texture.
